A day in London with our campaigners

On 31st July, we held a get together with our campaigners to talk about campaigning priorities, explore creative ideas and generally have a lovely time!

The day started at Fair Shot, a social enterprise cafe in Covent Garden. Here we spoke to our campaigners and ambassadors about what issues impact them the most, how they want to be represented in our campaigns, and the messaging we should put out to the world.

From staring and comments to healthcare and education, we touched on the everyday experiences of people living with a visible difference, and how we can change the views of society for the better.

Nothing beats an in-person meeting with our incredible campaigners and ambassadors.

Our community’s voice guides everything we do, so their feedback will help us to shape the future of campaigning at Changing Faces.

After a delicious lunch provided by Fair Shot, we moved on to Brave Spark’s offices – a creative agency that Changing Faces is working with to create new and exciting campaigns.

The Brave Spark team presented the brilliant concepts they’ve come up with to our campaigners, enabling them to give their honest views on each one.

It was a lively discussion, with plenty to consider. We’ll be ensuring that whichever concept we move forward with will be guided by the expertise of our community. Watch this space!

Campaigners at the pub social

Following a productive day, we rounded things off with a trip to a local pub. After all, sometimes the best ideas come from an informal chat over a drink.

It was a brilliant day all round – nothing beats an in-person meeting with our incredible campaigners and ambassadors.
